“How do we reduce the cost of injury? Well, it’s through a combinations of things but ultimately, its about understanding your business and its people. Something we do very well.”
Aurenda can provide a broad range of reviews, from straightforward half-day “snapshot” reviews of workers’ compensation, injury management and occupational safety and health compliance, through to comprehensive review and analysis of complex areas of safety, injury management and sick leave. Our staff are trained in and can conduct AS/NZS 4801 safety audits and are also qualified to conduct WorkSafe Plan assessments for the achievement of WorkSafe Silver, Gold or Platinum awards. We regularly conduct independent audits and reviews of contractors for principals in mining and affiliated industries.
Injury management is our core business. We provide services ranging from advice and assistance for employers with workers’ compensation premiums as low as $100,000 through to fully managed services, across national and international jurisdictions, for employers with premiums in the millions of dollars. We assist employers to take control over all aspects of their workers’ compensation and injury management costs; to understand their rights and responsibilities; and to make fully informed decisions about workers’ compensation and injury management matters that have financial and human impacts on their organisation and its people.
Occupational Safety and Health
We reduce hazards and make work practices safer to prevent accidents through workplace redesign and occupational health and safety training programs. Aurenda has staff who are able to conduct safety audits, training and implementation ranging from advice on one-off safety issues to full compliance to AS/NZS 4801.
Our training services are highly sought after. We are accredited by WorkSafe Western Australia to provide the Five Day Introductory Training Course and the Two Day Refresher Training Course for Safety and Health Representatives. In addition, we provide customised training for our clients in areas such as legislative compliance, duty of care, manual handling, injury management and ergonomic assistance.

A key role we undertake is to invite our clients to regular breakfast sessions with notable guest speakers: some industry-related such as the Director of the Dispute Resolution Directorate; others with a community focus such as the Commissioner of Police, Karl O’Callaghan; and some just for fun such as former International Cricketer Rodney Hogg.
We also offer seminars on significant issues relating to workers’ compensation, injury management and occupational safety and health, and we provide boardroom lunches and a broad range of social opportunities for our clients to network and learn from each other’s experiences.
